MJWF King & Queen - Overall classification
King & Queen of the MTB Junior World Festival 2025
Celebrate the Most Consistent Performances in the MJWF Overall Ranking
This prestigious award honors the best performances across all five races. Those who perform consistently throughout all events will have the chance to become the MTB Junior World Festival King or Queen!
Overall Ranking:
The overall ranking is calculated by the sum of the best placements from the XCO races and the Team Relay.
The overall winners will be the athletes who, at the end of the week, have the lowest total sum of placements across all five events (including the Team Relay!).
For example: If someone finishes with placements of 10, 5, 3, 31, and 1, this adds up to 50 points. Another athlete has placements of 103, 1, 1, 4, and 5, which adds up to 114 points. The athlete with 50 points will be ahead in the overall standings!
This means you need to give your best in every event to stay at the top of the overall ranking! Those who deliver consistently have a real chance at the title!
Award Ceremony:
The Junior World Festival King and Queen will be crowned on Saturday, 12.07.2025, to celebrate consistent performance and commitment to XCO cycling. Each UCI race + Team Relay will be individually ranked, but if you register for the Festival Package, your results from all five races (including the Team Relay!) will count toward the overall ranking.
Participation:
Open to all participants who register for all five races of the festival.
Prizes:
Trophies + prizes for the top three junior women and junior men. Prize money for the top 10 junior women and junior men.
